A “Learner Log Book” is a necessary to track every driving lesson you have had. Keep track of your progress in your log book as you work towards solo driving. We want to help learner drivers so much, so that in the long run they keep safe on our roads.

Recently, VicRoads introduced the myLearners app an electronic version that runs on Iphones and Android phones, which you can optin for using together with your existing log book.

If you have been using the paper log book then you need to keep this as well when you go for your driving test.

Once you’ve transferred your hours over to the app, you can just use myLearners app going forward. But make sure not to lose your paper log book, as you’ll still need to bring it in to be verified before your driving test.

Caution:

When you first log in myLearners, you’ll be prompted to enter the total number of hours you’ve already completed driving (both day & night), as well as a separate single entry for all the night hours recorded in your paper learner log book. Make sure you have these numbers ready to go, as you can only enter them once and you can’t edit them if you make a mistake!

The Learner Log Book will be checked before you take the drive test to make sure everything has been completed correctly.
